We organize academic, research, and cultural events to support Ukrainian academics and students, fostering international collaboration and resilience. These events connect universities and industry partners, expanding research opportunities and strengthening UK-Ukraine academic ties.
Key Initiatives
Digital Theme Research Twinning Conference (Online) – March 27-31, 2023
Facilitated integration of Ukrainian researchers into the global academic network. Focused on Digital Infrastructure, Digital Economy, and IT sector development. Featured invited talks, research showcases, and virtual poster sessions. 100+ submissions received, 51 accepted for short presentations, 22 for posters.
UK-Ukraine Research Twinning Showcase & Networking – March 26-27, 2024
Brought together academics, industry leaders, and funding bodies. Stimulated new research partnerships and interdisciplinary collaborations.
Ukrainian Christmas Event – December 17, 2024
A festive celebration of Ukraine’s rich winter traditions. Workshops, choir performances, and interactive discussions on UK-Ukraine links. Featured experts from Liverpool Hope University, Open Eye Gallery, and the University of Liverpool. Included a fair, exhibition, music, and cultural exchanges.
